Schalke midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng lost his cool against teammate Kryakos Papadopoulos following a nasty challenge on Jefferson Farfan at training, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 25-year-old was unhappy with the tackle of the Greek international on fellow teammate Farfan, leaving him injured on the ground.

The Ghanaian international, who is seen as leader at the club, confronted Papadopoulos in an angry manner which forced the other teammates to step in from escalating.

The former AC Milan man did not understand why Papadopoulos was so hard on his colleague in training.

GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that the manager Jens Keller was forced to stop the exercise by calling the two players to remain calm.

hahahaha: Anthony Annan is just looking on with his hands behind him.

    • spellBOUND says:

lol yea hes saying let these fools fight and get benched. it may free up some room for me in the lineup..

    • Fiifi, Berlin says:

Anthony Annan knows why he is just looking on! When he first arrived at Schalke , he had to fight with Papadoupoulos for his position in middlefield! Magath was then favouring Anthony Annan till Magath was sacked ! The fight for places excalated resulting in a brawl between this same Papadoupoulos and Annan! During this brawl Papadoupoulos’s ear mistakingly found its way between Anthony’s teeth while Papadoupoulos gave Anthony a knock on his and Anthony also BIT Papa’s oyibo ears very hard!! That started the whole problems for Anthony Annan ! By that time Magath was no more there to protect him!Since KPB arrived at Schalke the fortunes of Anthony Annan has risen, because KPB has been supporting him this has made the coach also start paying more attention to Anthony and trying to give him more playing time. Anthony has put his hands behind him, because, otherwise he would also join in the brawl and give Papa some jabs! The brawl was NOT JUST A BRAWL, THERE IS MORE BEHIND WHAT HAPPENED!!! Tip: Remember KPB’s and Annan’s positions in the BS at the WC 2010 at South Africa!

      • spellBOUND says:

          • Fiifi, Berlin says:

This is the article in the German papers -VERY SORRY IT WAS NOT THE EAR BUT RATHER THE HAND-(All the same strong african teeth proved its power) The incident happened in 2011 on the 19. April. The above-report only reported that they had a clash when they collided in midair and Papadoupoulos had to quit training on that day, iam still trying to find the news report with the brawl between the two!

      • Rita Buah says:

Eiiiiiii! hahahahahahahhahahaaaaaaaaaaa… i have never laughed this hard. Bro. Fiifi, if i may ask, are you a schalke fc player to give all this information or is Anthony Annan your relative? hahahahhaaaaaaaaaaa.

  4. Adebayo says:

KPB has a point here. Farfan is the best player at the club at the moment and he may be irreplaceable for a while!

  5. lion-fire says:

Same guy, Kevin, who injured ballack. He knows the Germans will keep saying that

  6. asenegal says:

Spellbound if u dont know ur facts, pls dont speak. Who told u papadopoulos is a bench warmer. 4 ur info. He plays in every schalke game n even arsenal, liverpool wanted 2 but him

    • spellBOUND says:

chale i do apologize for not taking this story as serious as my day time job….aaaaah, ive watched my share of schalke games, and haven’t seen this guy start… granted he comes off the bench in some occations, but i haven’t watched when he was in the starting lineup…..

again i apologize to u my good sir for my ignorance… smh

spellBOUND here is the report in GSN in 2011:

Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan has been involved in another biting incident but this time against his own Schalke team-mate Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

Anthony Annan is at the centre of another biting incident, this time in Germany

Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan has been involved in another biting incident but this time against his own Schalke team-mate Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

The German club suffered the bizarre training-ground injury scare to whizkid Papadopoulos, who had his hand hurt by team-mate Anthony Annan’s TEETH.

It forced the Greek defender, 19, out of training.

Schalke boss Ralf Rangnick said: “He had severe pain in the hand, so he cancelled the workout as a precaution.”

It is the latest misfortune to hit the Bundesliga outfit ahead of Tuesday’s semi-final first leg in Gelsenkirchen……..”
