Newly-promoted Serie A side Sassuolo are ready to unleash Ghanaian youngster Abass Alhassan in the top-flight.
The 18-year-old defensive midfielder has been named in the club's squad for Tuesday's TIM Cup match.
Alhassan has been knocking on the first team door after impressing with the youth team since joining the club last year.
Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco promoted senior side and handed him the number 18 jersey.
The former Prampram United player has been likened to Yussif Raman Chibsah who spent last season on loan at the club.
