EXCLUSIVE: AS Roma eyeing January move for Ghana winger Acheampong

Italian Serie A giants AS Roma are pondering over a possible move to sign Ghana youth international winger Frank Acheampong from Belgian side Royal Anderlecht, according to reports in Italy. 

Roma manager is looking for a Rudi Garcia is looking for a young well nurtured winger to blend with the experience of Maicon and Ashley Cole and has identified the Ghanaian for the role.

Acheampong, 20, has excelled at Anderlecht so far in the season as he has bagged 2 goals in 9 starts and has also flourished in the Uefa Champions League, holding down a place in the Anderlecht squad.

Roma scouts have kept tabs on the former Ghana U20 winger and have recommended him for a January signing.

Acheampong arrived at Anderlecht three seasons ago and has overly impressed at the club, managing 1362 league minutes and scoring 5 times from the wings.
