Norwegian side Rosenborg have made Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey their number one summer target, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Kwaraseyââ¬â¢s contract with champions Stromsgodset runs out at the end of the current campaign but is reluctant to renew his stay with the club, as revealed exclusively by Ghanaââ¬â¢s leading football portal on Wednesday morning.
Rosenborg are keen to land the 26-year-old with the future of current shot-stopper Daniel Orlund unknown.
The "Sillen" are uncertain whether they will want to continue working with the soon 34-year-old, who has struggled with knee injury since 2012.
Stromsgodset are desperate to tie the Ghanaian international to a long-term deal before the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
But GHANAsoccernet.com understands that the player is reluctant to renew his contract in the hope that he will excel at the global showpiece in Brazil to earn him a move to a BIGGER European club.
Kwarasey captained Stromsgodset to win the Norwegian league last year and played in all 30 matches
