Medeama chief executive James Essilfie will contest for the Western Regional FA Chairman position when nominations are opened, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The highly-respected football administrator will throw himself into the race to challenge incumbent Kojo Yankah during the polls later this year.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that the affable Medeama chief is hugely popular in the Western region and touted as a genuine contender for the seat.
