Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has told GHANAsoccernet.com exclusively that he’s received offers from unnamed clubs in Holland and France for highly-rated defender Rashid Sumaila.

Scouts from the two countries watched the Ghanaian international during the Black Stars 1-0 defeat against the Netherlands in a pre-World Cup friendly last Saturday.

The 21-year-old put in a strong showing for the Africans and Mosimane has revealed lots of offers have poured in for his talented centre-back.

“I watched the game against Holland after he had alerted me to watch in case I needed to chip in a word,” Mosimani GHANAsoccernet.com

“But after that I can tell you clubs over there and in France were already checking on him, so that’s your answers to the question if I think he had a good game.”

The former Kotoko defender enjoyed a successful debut season with Sundowns after helping them to win the South African Premier League.

He featured 22 times for the Brazilians as they lifted the trophy in seven years.

He has made the country 23-man squad for the global showpiece in Brazil which starts next week Wednesday.
