EXCLUSIVE: Kwarasey launches attack on Black Stars coaches for his exclusion from Ghana's AFCON squad
Adam Kwarasey says he has been wrongly excluded from the Black Stars squad

Norway-based goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has launched a scathing attack on the Black Stars technical team for his exclusion from Ghana's squad for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The Stromsgodset captain says the decision to call inactive goalkeepers for the matches against Uganda and Togo ahead of him shows that his criticism of the Black Stars coaches after the World Cup was right.

The Norway-born shot stopper looks to have paid the price for his attacks on the technical team that he was dropped from the Black Stars starting line-up at the World Cup for non-footballing reasons.

After the World Cup, Kwarasey said he would not play for the Black Stars until goalkeepers trainer Nassam Yakubu is replaced but the shot-stoppers' coach has kept him position since the tournament in Brazil.

Kwarasey excluded from coach Kwesi Appiah's 24-man squad in his first squad since the World Cup on Wednesday and it includes goalkeepers Fatau Dauda, Stephen Adams and Razak Braimah for the two matches in Kumasi and Lome.

With Dauda yet to acquire his work permit to play for his new South African club Chippa and Adams still enjoying the Ghanaian league's off-season, Brimah remains the only active goalkeeper among the three selected.

Kwarasey, who is active as the Norwegian league is already underway, says the decision to leave him out of the squad shows that his criticism of the coaches is justified.

"No one forced me to say what I said after the World Cup. I said what I felt about what I experienced during the World Cup," Kwarasey told the Norwegian press on Thursday.

"The fact that I have been excluded from the squad, only reinforces what I said."

Kwarasey is among several players who played at the World Cup but were excluded for the matches against Togo and Uganda as they fight to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
