Asante Kotoko captain Michael Akuffo has arrived in Malaysian to sign for topflight side Kelantan, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
The midfielder is pushing for a move abroad after four years of dedicated service for the Porcupine Warriors.
Last month, his club announced that they had accepted a US$ 150,000 offer from Libyan side Al Ahli Sports Club but his transfer could not be finalized.
Akuffu rejoined Kotoko and trained with them during their pre-season camp in Tamale but it looks like he might sign for Kelantan which is coach by Dutch-Ghanaian George Boateng.
He captained the team to win the league and FA Cup double this season.
Akuffu was a member of the Ghana team which won silver at the 2014 African Nation Championship in South Africa.
