Coach Augustine Evans Adotey wants to terminate his contract with Medeama, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The experienced trainer does not see himself in the scheme of things at Tarkwa and wants to leave.

Newly-appointed coach Prince Owusu named his backroom staff without last week without the Ghana Under-17 female team coach.

Adotey has told Ghana’s leading football website, Ghanasoccernet.com that he wants out after paying glowing tribute to club president Moses Armah.

“I have a contract with the club (Medeama) but want out now,” he said

“They have appointed a new coach and it obvious I’m no longer part of their plans.

“It’s only proper and fair that I’m allowed to leave to look for a job elsewhere.

“As we speak there are so many clubs interested in me but my situation with Medeama is making things difficult.

“I have so much respect for President Moses Armah and the club as a whole. They have treated me well and I thank them.

“But I think it’s time for me to move on and seek a new challenge elsewhere.”

Adotey has been with the club for over three years, combining both club and national assignments.

He has emerged as a target for a number of Premier League clubs but contractual situation with the Mauve and Yellows has become a hindrance.
