Ghana striker Jordan Ayew is suspended for next month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Lorient forward has picked up two yellow cards in four matches and will serve a one-match ban.

Ayew is likely to be named in the double-header but will miss the trip to Kampala for the penultimate fixture.

The 22-year-old has showed maturity in his last three matches and provided two assists for captain for Asamoah Gyan to score in the wins against Togo and Guinea at home.

Ghana need a win in their next month to seal qualification to the finals next year in Morocco.
