The Ghana Football Association has begun the nationality switch  of in-form Feyenoord Rotterdam winger Elvis Manu, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Manu, 21, was born in the Dutch city of Dordrecht to Ghanaian parents and holds a Netherlands passport.

He has featured for Holland’s youth teams but qualifies to play for the Black Stars.

Manu has expressed interest in featuring for the West African country but must first be cleared by FIFA.

If successful, he will become the second ex-Holland youth international to switch allegiance to play for Ghana as a senior international after Quincy Owusu-Abeyie.

Manu has scored two goals in ten Dutch Eredivise matches for Feyenoord and has agreed a two-year contract extension with the club.
