Ex-Medeama winger Theopilus Anoobah arrived in Egypt on Tuesday morning to begin a three-year stint with top-flight side Ismaily, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 23-year-old has ended his stay with the Mauve and Yellows following a bitter row with his employers.
The former Ashantigold winger has signed a three-year deal with the club believed to be in the region of $150,000 with Medeama expected to pocket $50,000 of the onward transfer fee.
Ismaily have received the playerââ¬â¢s International Transfer Certificate which paves way for him to start his career with the Egyptian outfit.
However, the Ghanaian will have to wait a little longer to mark his debut after Egyptian authorities suspended football league matches indefinitely after at least 22 fans were killed in clashes with police at a Cairo stadium.
Anoobah was a member of Ghanaââ¬â¢s Local Black Stars team which clinched silver at the 2014 African Nations Championship held in South Africa.
