Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg won’t release 'great' Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah as he nears full fitness ahead of the start of the new season,  GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Ghanaian international is battling his way to full fitness since he suffered a horrible injury over a year ago.

The 26-year-old centre-back has been linked to a number of clubs in Europe with newly-promoted German second-tier side RB Leipzig believed to have made an offer for the African.

But manager Adolf Hütter has hailed the qualities of the defender and says he will be going nowhere.

“Isaac is very important for the team and has integrated well,” Hütter said

“I have seen him for four weeks now and I have experienced what a great person he is.

“The most important thing is that he’s healthy but he will stay with us. He is an important player for us.”

Vorsah failed to recover in time for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but is working hard to regain full fitness to return to international football.

He will return to the Black Stars for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which starts in September if he proves his fitness.
