Ashantigold defender Joshua Tijani has signed a three-year deal with Libyan side Al Ahli Tripoli, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 23-year-old signed the dotted lines on Tuesday morning moment after arriving in the North African country for an undisclosed fee.
He joins compatriot Kwame Boahene who signed a similar deal two weeks ago.
Tijani has been a towering figure for the miners in the Ghanaian top-flight over the last three seasons and played for Ghana during the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.
The left back-cum-centre back will return to Ghana on Wednesday morning to prepare for his adventure with the Libyan side.
He will travel to Tunisia on September 25 to begin pre-season with the side ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League next year.
The Libyan League has been suspended due to the political unrest in the North African country.
