EXCLUSIVE: Asante Kotoko-King Faisal FA Cup semi-final postponed
MTN FA Cup

GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report that the MTN FA Cup Committee has postponed Sunday’s semi-final match between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal.

The organizers took the decision to delay the match after AshantiGold, who were declared losers for forfeiting their quarter-final clash against Kotoko, have appealed the Ghana FA Disciplinary Committee ruling.

It would be recalled that Kotoko protested against AshantiGold when they failed to honour the match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

AshGold made their appeal last Friday and Kotoko filed their Statement of Defence against AshGold's Statement of Appeal on Tuesday.

The Ghana FA Appeals Committee will hear the case early next week.

If their appeal is rejected,  then the second semi-final match will be played on 25 May at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Inter Allies have already qualified for the final after edging Fetteh Feyenoord 1-0 last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
