Ex Olympique Marseille President Papa Diouf has counseled Jordan Ayew to become a reformed character.
The 21-year-old has often been criticized for his temperament on the pitch of play in France.
He had an altercation with English iconic figure David Beckham during Marseille 2-0 defeat to Paris St-Germain in the French Cup last month.
The former Marseille chief has warned the retired Ghana international to keep calm on the pitch of play.
“Jordan called me recently and I told him: Hey young man…stop being an ass ****,” Diouf said
“Even if your brother attacks you on the pitch, you do not have to react.
“But he (Jordan) always guilty of knee-jerk reactions and says being part of a player…. this is not the case.
“But I think he’s learnt his lesso.”
The youngest son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele has retired from the Black Stars.
