Winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi says he is back in Ghana to complete an ââ¬Ëunfinished businessââ¬â¢ with Asante Kotoko.
The 20-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the champions to seal his return to the Ghanaian top flight.
Gyamfi left Ghana almost three-years ago to join South African club Maritzburg United.
And after his initial progress in the PSL, the ex Ghana U20 starââ¬â¢s performance dropped due to excessive injuries.
He is thus back in Ghana to ââ¬Ëre-launchââ¬â¢ his career but he says he is on a mission to finish some unfinished business he left behind when he first left.
ââ¬ÅHonestly, I believe I left something behind which I must come back and pick,â⬠Gyamfi toldà Goal Ghana.
ââ¬ÅI could have joined several teams even outside Ghana but I thought it wise to return home and finish what I couldn't before leaving for South Africa.
ââ¬ÅKotoko is a great club and I believe we can make a mark this season both domestically and on the international stage [Champions League].
ââ¬ÅI hope to win my first league title here but I will not promise the goal king.
ââ¬ÅI will try my possible best to work towards that and score as many as I can to help the team achieve success.ââ¬
Gyamfi has already caught the eye of the Kotoko fans after scoring in the Super 2 friendly clash against Hearts of Oak.
