Ex-Kotoko striker Abdul Aziz Yusif hopes to land a permanent deal with New York Red Bulls when he undergo a trial session with the American Major League side.

Yusif, 23, will leave Accra on Monday for the trial period expected to last for three weeks in the United States.

The former Kotoko attacker is a free agent after leaving Egyptian outfit Smouha last year.

“I’m hopeful of landing a permanent deal,” he said

“That is the dream of every player to play actively. I have to go out there and work hard to impress the coach and his technical staff.”

Coach Jesse Marsch will assess the Ghanaian striker during the period before deciding on his long-term future.
