Ghanaian defender Kwabena Adusei made a winning start to his career with South African side Mpumalanga Black Aces by helping the side clinch a famous 2-1 win at SuperSport United on Wednesday night.

The 27-year-old started and lasted the entire duration on his full debut with his new club in the South African top-flight match played in Polokwane.

The Ghanaian boosted Mpumalanga Black Aces defence helping them to pick up their first league win, after defeating SuperSport United 2-1 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

This means Adusei presence in the defence helped Clive Barker's men move off the foot of the Absa Premiership table thanks to goals from Collins Mbesuma and Aubrey Ngoma.

Adusei rejected an offer from Kotoko to renew his expired contract leading him to sign with the South African club.

He helped marshal the defence of Aces to secure the famous away win against struggling SuperSport United.

Adusei impressed coach Clive Barker and the Aces hierarchy who swooped to sign him on a long term deal.

He was outstanding and caught the eyes of Black Aces during the African Nations Championship, staged in South Africa earlier this year.

Here's how they lined up:

SuperSportUnited: Williams, Moloi, Daniels, Teyise, Khumalo, Morton, Mokeke, Phala, Chenene, Mathebula, Manzini

Mpumalanga Black Aces: Murambandoro, Kobola, Nonyane, Negomasha, Ngalo, Zuke, Adusei, Ngoma, Khenyeza, Nale, Ndoro
