Ex Italy star Di Gennaro predicts Kevin Boateng rediscovery

Posted On Sunday, 2nd December 2012

Di Gennaro believes Kevin-Prince Boateng has started rediscovering his form

By Akyereko Frimpong Manson

Former Italy international Antonio Di Gennaro believes Kevin-Prince Boateng is on track to regaining his lost form after his impressive performance for AC Milan in last Friday’s 3-1 win over Catania.

The 25-year-old scored on the 56th minute mark, three minutes after Stephan El Shaarawy had cancelled out Nicol Legrottaglie opener for Catania.

El Shaarawy picked out Boateng at the edge of the area who skipped a man before sending powerful volley home from 25 yards to put the Rossoneris 2-1 ahead.

Despite seeing red at the death, Di Gennaro who made 15 appearances for Italy believes Boateng’s signture strike is enough evidence that he is rediscovering his good old form.

“Great goal from Boateng and this could serve as a catalyst,” he told Milannews.
