Ghana youth international attacker Nasiru Mohammed has expressed confident ahead of the new Swedish season, insisting his BK Hacken side will enjoy an improved season.

After a comprehensive pre-season campaign in Dubai, the 19 is brimming with confidence have put themselves back in competition to win the Swedish Allsvenskan title.

"We are working in both attacking and defending as well too. Most especially defending corners and side free-kicks which result in most of the goals we concede. And we are playing more counter attack football too this season. So I'm very confident things will change," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The former Rainbow FC playmaker admits the club suffered last season in the Swedish top-flight due to the departure of Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris.

"We all miss him (Waris) because he is a very fantastic player and a good person to play with. But it is not only him who took the team high last two seasons so I believe with the new player and old ones we can make a good season this year by God's grace."

Hacken who contended strongly for the Swedish league title two seasons ago, performed abysmally last season when they finished in a lowly tenth place at the end of the season.
