Ex-Ghana star Johnson blasts Hearts over poor managerial style

Ex-Hearts defender Sam Johnson has launched an astonishing attack on the administrative style of the club.

The capital-based side are languishing at the 12th position on the league after the suffering two successive defeats.

The club has also been decimated with key departures after the club put several top stars on the transfer-list for failing to hold down a regular spot in the team.

Critics have partly blamed the side’s downward spiral in the Premier League on Board chairman Togbe Afede, who has been accused of running a one-man show.

The ex-Ghana international, who played for Hearts between 1991-95 has criticized the management for runnnning the club poorly.

“What is happening to Hearts is unfortunate and something drastic must be done,” Johnson said

“The way the people in charge are running the club is extremely poor to say the least.

“When you look at Kotoko, they have put in place proper structures and even though they may not be winning all their matches, their situation is far better than ours.

“This situation can’t be allowed to continue because it’s a worrying situation.”

Hearts will host Aduana Stars at home on Sunday.
