Ex-Ghana FA boss Tamakloe tips Hearts for League success

Hearts have been tipped to win the Premier League next season

Hearts board member Nyaho Tamakloe is confident the club will reclaim the Premier League title from Kotoko next season.

The capital-based club are preparing assiduously for the upcoming season with an eye for the Premier League crown top of the agenda.

Head trainer CK Akunnor has fortified his squad with the acquisition of some top notch players to help him win the ultimate.

Ex-Ghana Under-17 star Emmanuel Ansong, Seth Owusu and Richard Addai are some of the high profile players that will feature for the 2000 African Champions this term with striker Gilbert Fiamenyo set to miss the start of the campaign due to a troublesome knee injury.

The former Ghana FA chairman is convinced the arsenals at their disposal will help them end their three-year trophy drought.

“You will see a different Hearts of Oak. The main objevtive is to win the League and I can assure you that definitely we shall take the league,” Tamakloe said

“Individuals we can handle any problem that confront the club and so there is no worry at all,”

“Absolutely the CEO has the trust of the board. He has been able to hold the fort for us and so there is no doubt in my mind that he can lead the side to victory.

Hearts will test their readiness for the League campaign when they engage rivals Kotoko in an MTN Super-2 clash at the Baba Yara stadium on Septmeber 23.
