Ex Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe is attending a meeting of the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to discuss an amendment of a football law which will allow for a fourth substitution in extra time.
Baffoe is attending the meeting as one of the members of the newly constituted Football Advisory Panel of the IFAB â⬓ the lawmaking body for football.
Items for discussion at the meeting which convened on Monday and being rotated across London, Belfast and Cardiff include a fourth substitute in extra time, interpretation of the offside law, handling the ball and video replays for match officials.
IFAB has previously agreed to a proposal for a fourth substitute in extra time, but asked for the issue to be assessed by the advisory panels before any further discussion.
Officials will also debate the potential use of ââ¬Åsin binsââ¬, but no law change can be made during the latest routine meeting.
IFAB consists of representatives from the UKââ¬â¢s four British associations and four representatives from FIFA.
The laws of the game are reviewed once a year at an annual general meeting.
