Ex-Bayern Munich star Hamann convinced Chelsea can pull off upset

Liverpool legend Didi Hamann says Bayern Munich could implode against Chelsea in tonight’s Champions League final.

Hamann, who spent five seasons at Bayern between 1993-98 and won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005, reckons the German giants could falter under the weight of expectation against the Blues.

The 38-year-old told The Sun: “Bayern Munich didn’t win a trophy last season which doesn’t happen too often and this year could be the second season running without one.

“The pressure is even more on Bayern now to win on Saturday.

“The Munich fans feel they’ve done the hard work beating Real Madrid and Chelsea should be a bit easier, but I disagree.

“It won’t be easy at all.”
