Injured Ghanaian striker Sadat Bukari rues missing the opportunity to play against compatriot Mubarak Wakoso when his Romanian side Astra Giurgiu travel to Celtic in Europa League.

The former Heart of Lions man has been sidelined for two weeks after picking up a groin injury.

"It would have been nice to play against my former teammate, Wakaso as well as playing against Celtic. It's a big team that has a great history. Too bad to miss out on such a game," Sadat told Allsports.com.gh.

"What matters is the success of my team so I am absolutely 100% behind them to go out there and win for us. We need points now," Bukari added.

Bukari is remembered for his goals which helped qualify Astra Giurgiu to the Group stage.
