Ghanaian youth forward Eugene Ansah has expressed great relief after breaking his season dock to score a brace for KSC Lokeren in the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.

The 20-year-old forward, formerly of Liberty Professionals youth team, climbed off the bench as a 78th minute substitute and scored five minutes later before adding the second four minutes from full-time.

"I feel great because its been a long time since I scored and I don't play much but I am happy I scored today and its a great relief for me to show I am not dead but alive," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The first goal which arrived in the 83rd minute saw Ansah resist a double challenge from two Mouscron defenders to power home a fierce low drive in Asamoah Gyan-style and wheeling off in grand celebration while his coach punches the air.

In the second strike he picked a pass from inside of the box and darted the ball to the bottom root corner.

Lokeren are in hot pursuit of an European ticket for next season and Ansah is already dreaming of achieving the target.

"Hopefully if we will win the group play final with Genk who are already winning their group so we will know," he added.
