Esperance are unwilling to sell Harrison Afful despite reported interests in the Ghana defender after impressing at the 2014 World Cup.

French giants Olympique Marseille are said to be very keen on signing the full-back.

Afful has however returned to the Tunisian giants after excelling at the World Cup with no apparent sign of a deal happening.

Esperance are determined to hold onto their man with coach Sebastian Desabre emphasizing on the full-back’s importance to his team as they prepare to face CS Sfaxien in the Champions League match on Saturday.

"Afful is a versatile player, it is an asset for the team I have not decided what position he will play Saturday [against Sfaxien]," he said.

Afful. 27. Has been with Esperance since 2009 and has won four domestic league titles and a CAF Champions League crown.
