Espanyol coach extols Wakaso's qualities

Mubarak Wakaso has signed a four-year contract with Espanyol

Espanyol coach Mauricio Pochettino has heaped praise on his new signing Mubarak Wakaso.

Wakaso completed a four-year move to the Barcelona-based side on Wednesday from Villarreal yesterday.
The 21-year-old become the club’s official signing this transfer window.
After Thursday morning’s training session in Peralada, Pochettino extolled the qualities of the former AshantiGold player.
“He is a young player with great energy, but most emphasize is that it can play as a left back and in midfield.”
Espanyol are seeking to improve on last season’s 14th place finish in the Spanish top flight. Wakaso was officially presented to the club’s fans on Thursday.
