Striker Eric Bekoe has returned to training with Great Olympics after failing to sign for Lebanese side Tripoli Sporting Club.

The former Ghana Premier League goal king was the star of attraction at the club’s training ground on Thursday.

Bekoe claimed he rejected a poor offer from the Middle East and decided to return home in his bid to revive his career.

His career has been hampered by injuries and had to sit out the entire 2013/2014 season as a player of Berekum Chelsea.

“Bekoe returned to Olympics camp to train with us for the first time since returning from Lebanon,” Great Olympics coach Samuel Quaye told GHANASoccernet.com

“We will always hope to have the best players and if his quality and experience is added in our fold the better.”

Bekoe reached a deal to sign two years for the promoted Ghana Premier League side before travelling abroad.
