Ghana winger Andre Ayew has revealed he sat in front of his television before each Marseille game during his spell on the sidelines with injury.

The 24-year-old played his first game for Les Olympians on the first week of April after spending ten weeks on the sidelines with a knee problems he suffered while on international duty with Ghana.

Since his return for the game against Bastia, the nine-time French champions have not tasted defeat in their last two games as they have picked 4 points from a possible 6.

During his absence, Marseille lost as many as eight games and slipped further down the Ligue 1 table with their top-four ambitions almost slipping away.

Andre reveals he sat before his TV trembling before every game.

“I sat before my TV trembling before every game,” he told Foot01.

The Black Stars influential player has scored two league goals in 12 appearances so far this season.
