Enoch Adu Kofi has earned rave praises from two of his Club Brugge team-mates despite his lack of regular action at the club.

The 24 year old might be struggling for playing time in the Belgian League with giants Club Brugge but he is well respected by his team mates.

Striker Maxime Lestienne and defender Thomas Meunier made ??an interesting revelation when they were asked by “The News “about whom they thought is the best player in the core of Club Brugge.

The duo quickly jumped behind the former OGC Nice player.

"Enoch Adu”, said Meunier and Lestienne was quick to agree.

However Adu gets very little playing opportunities lately, a situation that looks surprising to the players.

The two players were quick to compare the former Ghanaian Youth International to team mate Victor Vazquez.

"Victor Vazquez is strong, but what Adu does in training, is top class," says Lestienne.

"Adu is technically strong and sees the game well” he added

“To wipe the ball from him is practically impossible," Meunier goes further.

"Last season we were the best team in the Play-Offs with a midfield with Adu, Vadis Odjidja and Jesper Jorgensen.

“The problem now is that after he no longer plays we are suffering a lot as the team revolved around him", says Meunier.

Adu Kofi has featured in ten of their last nineteen matches after joining last season in a 2million Euro deal.

Club Brugge are third on the Belgium Pro League table after nineteen matches. They trail leaders Standard Liege by four points.
