English sides Arsenal and Tottenham are in a race to sign Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu from Italian side Udinese following his explosive form this season.

Rival Italian clubs AS Roma and Juventus are also interested in the former Asante Kotoko player who has been a key part of Udinese's successes this term.

Udinese have slapped six million Euros price tag on the midfielder for the two clubs who have expressed interest in the powerful midfielder.

According to reports in the Italian media, the two Premier League clubs have pencilled down the midfielder for a possible transfer in the summer.

TuttoUdinese.it has reported that the two English sides are seeking to sign the Ghanaian even before the transfer window opens at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old, who was targeted by rival English club Liverpool before the transfer window shut last week, was unable to complete his dream move to England because of the meagre offer from the Kop.

His value will rocket if he excels for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil in June so the clubs are keen on sealing a deal before then.

Badu has been playing for Udinese since January 2010 and has scored three goals so far this season as a midfielder.

His current deal with Italian club ends in June 2016.
