Emmanuel Frimpong watched his Arsenal side cruised to a 3-1 win at Fulham in the London derby on Saturday.

The Ghana midfielder is chasing his first league match of the season after returning room the treatment room during the summer holidays.

He went under the knife in May to correct a knee problem after a six-month loan spell at Fulham where made six appearances.

Oliver Giroud opened the scoring early in the first half before Podolski scored a goal in each half, while substitute Darren Bent scored the only goal for Martin Jol's side.

Frimpong could be making a move away from the Emirates before the transfer window shuts on 2 September.
