Ghana new boy Emmanuel Frimpong had sweet memories on Friday when he met his boyhood trainer, Abdul ‘Golden’ Razak.
The 21-year-old had the chance to rekindle past times with the 1978 African Footballer of the Year at the team’s camp in the Garden City.
The former Asante Kotoko great coached Frimpong during his childhood playing days in Kumasi.
Sixteen-years down memory lane and Frimpong has grown to become a full-blown rising star.
He had his nationality switched rectified by FIFA in November last year and could mark his debut in the Black Stars 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan on Sunday.
Frimpong has previously played for Wolves and Charlton Athletic.
He is currently on-loan at Fulham.
Mr writer, tell us more abt his relationship with Razak back then. Did Razak discover him? what impact did has Razak made in his career? Any fond memories? Etc. Instead you rather give us a very brief and general report and end by reminding us of his nationality switch plus his former clubs. Do u have to always remind us of that?
