Emmanuel Baffour marked his debut for Mamelodi Sundowns
Ghana striker Emmanuel Baffour marked his debut for Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League in their 2-1 home defeat to Maritzburg United on Sunday.
The 23-year-old former Ghana Premier League goal king came off the bench four minutes after the break to replace South African international Edward Jabu Manqele.
Baffour joined Sundowns from New Edubiase United in June.
Ghanaian compatriot Awal Mohammed lasted the entire duration Maritzburg United while Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi was an unused substitute.
When Baffour signed for sundowns, I urge him to seek advise from Agyeman on the casus belli of his failure at Chiefs but whether he did or did not is his problem. This afternoon, he failed to impress the Downs fans massively. In fact, he was found wanting on all aspects of the game and others will disaggree vehemently that this is a goal king from Ghana as depicts his body language. Baffour, GO Big or Go home!
BLOW…ROME WASNT BUILT IN 1 DAY. DID U WATCH THE GAME? HOW MANY BALLS DID BAFFOUR MISS? DID THE MIDFIELDERS DO A GOOD JOB AT SUPPLYING HIM WITH BALLS? HOW DID BAFFOUR GEL WITH THE MIDFIELERS? U NEED TO EXAMINE ALL THESE BEFORE U COME TO A CONCLUSION
