The 21-year-old workaholic enforcer failed to recover from a problematic back injury and will sit out of the crucial tie at the Accra Sports stadium.
“We monitored him and tried our best but unfortunately he still feels pains. What it means is that he won’t be able to play the game tomorrow,” team doctor Adam Baba confirmed at a post match conference on Friday.
“He wanted to play through the pain barrier but we advised against that because the long-term consequences won’t be good for him,”
“That is the situation that we find ourselves and we must live with it. It shouldn’t take long for him to recover fully.”
The absence of of the 2009 Under-20 World Cup winner will be a massive blow to the West African heavyweights who need all their arsenals to be in top shape ahead of the tricky duel.
He has being an integral pillar in the Black Stars in recent times especially in the absence of Michael Essien.

Hello! MR team Doctor, i wont buy ur idea, bcos i heared this guy was injured some three days back, which u all knew there was no way he could play the game, yet he tried to push him through while we have good players to replace him equally. Daniel Nii Agyei of Asante kotoko, the best player in last season would’ve been a best replacement.oh GH why? Leaders of our various national teams always want to give the chance to players whom they can share their wining bonuses with.3Y3 AS3M O GHANA.
