Ghana prospect Elvis Manu highlighted his sensational form for the season after coming off the bench to score the third goal for Feyenoord in their 3-0 triumph over Standard Liege in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The 21-year-old Dutch-born attacker was thrown into the game with just eight minutes left for play with Feyenoord leading 2-0 and he used remaining minutes of the game to sign off and announce his return. He cemented the win for Feyenoord with an 88th minute finish.

Manu had come off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace youngster Jean-Paul Boëtius and he used the opportunity to announce his return to fitness.

His positioning was accurate as he received a pass from a team-mate inside the box and sent a decent effort to the bottom right corner.

The goal marks an incredible record against Standard Liege as he scored in both legs against them and also takes his European tally to four goals this season.

The Ghana Football Association has began the process of nationality switch to enable Manu play for the West African side.
