Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad is reporting that Dutch giants Feyenoord Rotterdam  have opened negotiations to tie down Dutch-born Ghanaian Elvis Manu to a new improved long-term contract.

Manu, 21, will run out of contract at Feyenoord at the end of the 2014/15 season and the Rotterdam giants are working around the clock to get him sign a new deal.

Reports from Holland claim rivals PSV Eindhoven a couple of German clubs have started hovering around the attacker with interest and that has prompted Feyenoord to quicken their pace of work and get him to sign a new deal.

Manu has flourished at Feyenoord in the early season and has led their charge in both domestic and European games, scoring two crucial Europa League goals and assisting as many as six in all competitions.
