Ethiopia coach Sewnet Bishaw has told Ghana his side will be highly competitive in Tuesday’s final Group C clash despite their elimination from the CHAN tournament.
They want to defeat the Local Black Stars to end their campaign on a high note.
Ethiopia were pre-tournament favourites but after defeats to Libya and Congo, the dream to lift the trophy crashed.
Bishaw said after losing to Congo: “To the neutrals it was an entertaining match with everything but we came into this tournament ready to do well and be competitive, it is unfortunate that we won’t stay in CHAN beyond our last group game against Ghana but we are determined to go out on a high note.”
Ghana need a draw against the Walyas to advance after picking four points from two games.
