Egyptian referee to handle Ghana-Mali play-off

Ghana's line-up at the Nations Cup

Egyptian referee Gihed Grisha will handle Ghana’s Nations Cup thrid-place play-off against Mali on Saturday night.

He will be assisted by Peter Edibe from Nigeria and Moffat Champiti, a Malawian on the lines.

Gassama Bakary Papa from the Gambia is the fourth official.

Ghana beat the Eagles of Mali 2-0 at the group stage but are yet to recover from the semi-final defeat to Zambia.

The match will be played at the Estadio Nuevo in Malabo.

Who cares , I don’t think I will watch that match…. 30 yrs without a cup and we are still fighting for 3rd and 4th. This Black Stars gives me heebie jeebies. Arrrrrrrrrgh , you can’t even tell if it is the coach or the players that are not doing their job well
