Egyptian FA confirms friendly date with Ghana

Posted On Friday, 7th December 2012

The Black Stars will play Egypt on January 10 in Abu Dhabi

The Egyptian Football Association has confirmed next month’s friendly with Ghana in Abu Dhabi.

The Pharaohs will take on the Black Stars on Janaury 10 before facing Ivory Coast four days later.

”The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has approved the friendlies offer,” EFA vice-president Hassan Farid was quoted as saying on the association’s official website.

Egypt, who failed to qualify for the Nations Cup finals, will not play a competitive game until March.

Head coach Bob Bradley wants to sharpen his team before their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.
