Egypt will bring the best out Ghana - Kwesi Nyantakyi
Kwesi Nyantakyi is confident about Ghana's chances against Egypt

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says the World Cup playoffs against Egypt will bring the best out of the Black Stars.

Expectations among Ghanaian soccer fans have heightened just days before the Black Stars line up to face the Pharaohs on October 15 in Kumasi.

The Black Stars are desperate to record a convincing win in the first leg to make the return encounter a mere formality.

However the seven-time African champions will prove a difficult nut to crack as Bob Bradley’s men are also determined to make it to Brazil.

But FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi insists the North African will bring out the best in the star-studded Ghanaian team.

“If we were not to play Egypt, Ghanaians would have complained that, our opponent is not strong enough,” Nyantakyi told Peace FM

“There will not be any seriousness attached to the match so it’s good we are playing Egypt.

“Playing Egypt will let us know the best out of our team. Ghanaians should be calm and pray for the Black Stars for victory and I hope by the grace of God, we will win this game.

The Black Stars will play the first leg in Kumasi before they travel to Egypt for the return encounter on November 19.
