Egypt striker Mohammed Gedo Nagi is a doubt for Tuesday’s 2014 World Cup Africa playoff first leg against Ghana after sitting out training yesterday.
The Hull City player has been hit by flu and could not train with his teammates on Sunday in Kumasi.
His situation will be assessed again by Egypt’s medical team on Monday when they hold their final training session.
Geddo climbed off the bench to score the only goal for Egypt in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations final played in Angola.
The 30-year-old has been inactive for six months and yet to play for Hull in the Premier League this season.
