Egypt are hoping to play Namibia before next month’s Brazil 2014 World Cup playoffs first leg against Ghana.
The Pharaohs want to test their readiness for the 15 October assignment at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Egypt preparations are in danger after Sierra Leone pulled out of Saturday’s friendly.
“In as much as we still have another friendly match against Namibia we don’t know when we will play it yet,” Egypt assistant coach Diaa El Sayed is quoted by SuperSport.com
“Based on this we will now search for new team instead of Sierra Leone ” Diaa said to supersport.com.
“We are used to these things happening to us and will forge ahead. We will continue to do our homework while the players train hard.” he added.
