Edward Affum could face sanctions

Hearts striker Edward Affum could face a disciplinary hearing over his bust-up with head coach David Duncan.

The former Asante Kotoko striker has been unhappy since he was dropped from the team that lost 2-0 at Heart of Lions last weekend.

He provoked an angry reaction from coach David Duncan at the team’s training grounds on Thursday.

He was addressing players who failed to report to training and Affum replied angrily he had stomach ache which surprised many of his colleagues.

Hearts are likely to begin disciplinary proceedings against the former Tema Youth man for his tirade.

He is likely to be jettisoned from the squad for Sunday’s home game against Aduana Stars.
