Asante Kotoko maintained their winning start to the season after scoring late to beat ten-man New Edubiase on Sunday.
Defender Kwaben Adusei converted a late penalty kick to ensure the champions retained their 100 percent record in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko however had it extremely tough on their return to the Baba Yara Stadium haven served out a home ban for crowd trouble last season.
The Porcupine Warriors wasted several chances and should have gone up as early as the 17th minute with striker Yahaya Mohammed missing an absolute sitter.

Ben Mensah was still making saves as the Edubiase team went into strict defensive mood towards the end of the game.
Their resolve was however broken with a late award of a penalty deep into stoppage time.
Defender Kwaben Edusei stepped up to slot home to hand Kotoko their third straight win of the season.
