Edubiase to play Confed Cup matches in Kumasi

Posted On Tuesday, 11th September 2012

New Edubiase will play in the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup

New Edubaise United have decided to play their 2013 CAF Confederation Cup matches at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The club’s home venue, the Gyemfi Park, cannot meet CAF’s requirement for continental matches.

Edubiase will only make a  short trip to Kumasi- where Kotoko will play their CAF Champions League matches too.

The Bekwai-based club will be making their continental debut next year after winning the 2012 Ghana FA Cup.

Edubiase beat AshantiGold 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium to win their first ever silverware.
