Abeiku Ainooson receiving his award
2012 MTN Ghana FA Cup winners New Edubiase United won a total of five awards at a ceremony on Friday night.
Moro Ibrahim, who got the only goal which earned them the silverware, was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the competition.
Edubiase beat AshantiGold 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in July.
The midfielder has since moved to Swedish giants AIK Stockholm where he has played a couple of matches.
He beat off competition from club mate Abeiku Ainooson and Didier Kore of AshantiGold.
But Ainooson was crowned Best Defender for the competition and New Edubiase’s shot-stopper Iddrisa Salia named Best Goalkeeper.
Also, Edubaise’s Anthony Commey claimed the Best Coach prize beating AshantiGold’s Yaw Acheampong.
