Edubiase plan testimonial match for Abubakari Yahuza

New Edubiase United will play a testimonial match for their former midfielder Abubakari Yahuza who career has been curtailed by injury on his wedding day.

The match will be played on Saturday 19 January at the Aboabo Middle B Park which will feature former players of colts clubs Akobalm FC and Kalum Stars. 

Former Ghana Premier League stars goalkeeper Suraj Mohammed, Awudu Ronaldo, Baba Amando, Nasir Lamine, Gabriel Opoku Ware will be in action.

Iddrisu Yahaya, Masawudu Abolo, Lukman Olaya, Muftawu Mohammed, Mallam Yahaya and New Edubiase president Abdul Salam Yakubu will also feature.

Yahuza, a member of Ghana's 2004 Olympic Games squad, returned home in 2009 and joined the Bekwai-based in a bid to revive his career.

Last season, he managed to play six matches for the side before sustaining the career-ending injury.

Yahuza played in Israel for Hapoel Kfar Saba and Hapoel Qiryat Shemona after a successful spell with King Faisal.
